Experience the succulent delights of France's Normandy gastronomy, as you eat your way through this fabulous Orne region gourmet box.
Artisanal producer-harvester: La Galotière, farm cider factory and organic distillery, Jean Luc et Nathalie Olivier
This is an excellent alternative to Normandy’s famous cider: perry is a traditional beverage made from 100% pure fermented pear juice, only in this case the pears are organic!
Made the same way as a fine apple cider, the subtle flavour of pears and country aroma of this delicious perry are revealed in the nose and mouth.
This low-alcohol beverage is best served chilled. Enjoy it alone as an aperitif or pair it with fish and seafood—either way, you're in for a tasty surprise!

This organic vinegar is made from dry cider, which our artisan mixes with a vinegar “mother” and lets sit for several months to turn the alcohol into acetic acid.
The result is an excellent apple cider vinegar that will add an extra kick to your salads, deglazed sauces, etc.
Artisan: La Ferme des Champs-Romet, boucherie charcuterie fermière, La Famille Chaussée.
We came across a “short circuit” farm of the type we’d like to see everywhere: La Ferme des Champs-Romet raises pigs, cows, sheep and barnyard fowl, fed almost exclusively on homegrown grain and alfalfa crops when they’re not grazing freely, and processes the meat on the spot to create delicious recipes. They also grow seasonal fruit and vegetables, certified organic since 2020.
In short: an old-fashioned farm where the quality and traceability of their animal feed is 100% guaranteed, allowing them to produce utterly amazing meat.
Try their mouth-watering rillettes and tell us what you think!
Artisan: Biscuiterie de l'Abbaye, biscuiterie normande artisanale.
Located in the heart of the Normandy-Maine Regional Nature Park, the Biscuiterie de l’Abbaye won the blue ribbon at Intersuc in 1968 for its sablé de l’Abbaye.
This award for best biscuit at the prestigious Paris bakery and pastry exhibition gives you an idea of how much we enjoyed sampling their biscuits made with Normandy’s famous andouille sausage, made by the region’s finest producers, and how excited we are to share that pleasure with you!
Artisan: La Ferme de l'Étoile, exploitation agricole de David, Marc et Xavier Siomen, Patrick Quesnel.
La Ferme de l’Étoile is another of those rare and wonderful farms that do everything themselves, where the animals are fed on grains harvested from their own fields.
Made according to a cherished family recipe, their home-bred farmhouse pork is slowly stewed in a mustard and cider sauce to create a typical Norman dish.
We’re convinced you’ll enjoy as much as we did!
Artisan: Biscuiterie de l'Abbaye, biscuiterie normande artisanale.
Like Trouville, one of the temple of Norman gastronomy, the Biscuiterie de l’Abbaye strives to offer the best of Normandy by combining its delicious apples with shortcrust and using only the finest local ingredients.
Bon appétit!
Artisans: La Ferme de l'Étoile, exploitation agricole, David, Marc et Xavier Siomen, Patrick Quesnel.
We couldn’t resist adding another delicacy from the amazing Ferme de l’Étoile to this hamper.
Made on the farm with their own homemade cream and salted butter, this creamy spread is the perfect way to sweeten pancakes, crepes or other treats!
Artisan: Déguste ton foin - Michel et Alain fermiers Bio, Alain Delangle et Michel Chatel.
Yes, we know you’re not ruminants! But we simply had to introduce you to these three products made from organic hay, an ingredient that’s becoming quite popular with many of France’s most famous chefs.
Organically cultivated since 1996, our artisan’s fields are planted with a variety of grasses (ryegrass, fescue, timothy, bluegrass, bromegrass), pulses (clover, alfalfa) and other species that grow naturally in this region. With these quality materials and a tried-and-true drying method that preserves the natural flavour of hay, our artisan-farmer invents delicious concoctions in collaboration with André Guépratte, one of Normandy’s most renowned jam makers, and Hubert Nobis, a Michelin-starred chef located just a few miles from the farm.
Original, all-natural products that offer a surprising gourmet experience, bringing the pleasant aromas and flavours of a Normandy summer straight to your door.

Every month, we have our new gourmet boxes tested by independent testers (we don't pay them! We just ship them one of our new gourmet basket…), specialized in the world of gourmet boxes to get external advice (we would obviously put 10/10 each time...) and make our latest gourmet baskets known, because we are proud of them, and because we must play the game of criticism....
This month, our French gourmet hamper of Normandy's gastronomy in LaBoxDuMois: outstanding ratings!
